Brand equity can be a company’s most valuable asset, especially for a company with luxury brands. Our goal in this demonstrator study was to see if controlled exposure to cheap Swiss watches had any impact on average-consumer opinions about the luxury Swiss-watch brand Rolex. Our approach involved an experiment conducted on smartphones.
